When former Christian Dior designer Gilles Neveu and Vladimir Fabert first got together they had an idea for a unique retail concept. Today they have turned that concept into reality under the brand name -Ovale-
The idea was to group, in a single space, clothes, soft toys, silverware, jewellery, accessories and special articles such as individually-designed, handmade christening robes - in other words, to offer under one roof, all of the wonderful gifts with which people celebrate that equally wonderful human event... the miracle of birth .
This unique store Features a minimalist boutique décor warmed by the harmonious use of refined tones of beige and brown.
Ovale is not a new clothing label, which is why we don't follow the seasonal rhythm of fashion collections. Rather we offer products made in beautiful, natural materials for all seasons, all year round.
Ovale's individuality is further enhanced by the fact that all of the products can be personalized (through embroidery and engraving); that the textiles chosen are always in the tones of white, beige and ivory (unisex); and also by the uniqueness of many of the items offered (ostrich eggs, jewel cases for champagne corks...)
And why, you may wonder, did we choose the name Ovale? Simply because an oval is the shape that life first assumes in a mother's womb...
