Stephen Church, founder of Philmore, and designer of the Tropical Silver line, touches on the influences of a diverse past to create adornments for the table and home. Starting with his factory in Bali, PT Philmoremas, Stephen originally built components for his neighbor, and fellow expat, John Hardy.
Tropical Silver was born from the blending of north European silversmith skills with indigenous materials found on the islands. Shells, Corals, and Tropical Woods, all became integral parts that lend an organic earthy look to the elegance of Sterling Silver.
