Ray-Ban

After permanently damaging his eyes on a high altitude balloon flight General John MacCready issued a commission for sunglasses that would perform under the extreme conditions. In 1929, with a revolutionary lightweight (150 grams) gold-coated Aviator with anti-glare G15 lenses, Bausch and Lomb won the contract.

In the recent years, sunglasses have become an essential expression of one's style and an integral part of any look. Ray-Ban offers a new take on eyewear but also on the world.
