The Little Black Gallery is London's boutique photography gallery. It was set up by Tamara Beckwith, Lindsey Carlos Clarke and Ghislain Pascal in November 2008. The Little Black Gallery is proud to present Yul Brynner - A Photographic Journey, available at Gift Library for a limited time only.
Yul Brynner’s reputation as one of the twentieth century’s most charismatic and versatile actors is irrefutable. But his talent as a photographer has been relatively unknown and unacknowledged.
Brynner’s subjects are some of the pivotal figures of cinematic and stage history, and his talent lies in capturing these people and particularly actors at ease, both on and off set. Yul Brynner was an actor, director, musician and photographer. One of Hollywood’s most respected performers, Brynner is best known for his depiction on stage and screen of King Mongkut in The King and I, for which he won both Academy and Tony Awards.
