William was born in London in 1979. He originally trained as a milliner at Kensington and Chelsea college and sold his first hat collection to Harvey Nichols in 2000.
Later, he introduced cashmere accessories into his range and now produces a collection of 100+ pieces for Autumn/Winter. His signature style is luxurious cashmere with Swarovski crystals and the brand has established itself as one the most coveted luxury brands worldwide.
In 2005 William was presented with the UK Fashion Exporter of the year award. Recently, the William Sharp range has started to introduce some more exclusive pieces including a cashmere wrap completely covered in 45,000 Swarovski crystals which retailed at £10,000 in Harrods.
